Paneer and Olive Plough

Ingredients/ Materials:

  • Steam cooker
  • 2 cups rice (cleaned)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Red chili powder (according to taste)
  • Turmeric (according to taste)
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Cumin seed (according to taste)
  • Methi powder (according to taste) (available at most Indian grocery suppliers)
  • Mustard seeds (according to taste)
  • A handful of raisins
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup paneer (chopped and in cubes)
  • 1/2 a of can olives
  • 1/2 cup of tomato puree

 

Procedure:

In steam cooker add all ingredients. Fix on white rice, and check on them in 15 min if cooked. If not, then keep it inside a bit longer, 5-10 min. Place in serving dish, then garnish with tomatoes and carrots. Enjoy!
