Pea Idli (Vegan)

Ingredients/Materials:

  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp green peppers
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper powder
  • 2/3 cup peas
  • idli mix

Procedure: Mix all of the materials together and follow the instructions on the idli box.

Ingredients/Materials:

  • 4 cups heavy milk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp slivered almonds
  • 1 tbsp chopped cashews
  • 1 tbsp pistachios
  • 1 tbsp shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 tbsp Makhana

Procedure: Boil milk until it evaporates into approx. 2 cups. Then add sugar and mix. Then add all of the remaining materials.

White Rasgulla

Ingredients/Materials:

  • 8 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • a pinch of saffron
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • a clean net-like cloth

Procedure: Boil the 8 cups milk on high heat, and add the vinegar. It will seperate into water and paneer. Drain out the water using the cloth. Then squeeze out enough water to make the paneer soft and creamy, like a soft dough. Then mix in the saffron and make small balls of the paneer. Boil the water and sugar until the form a sugar syrup. When it is bubbly, add the paneer, and then soak for 10-12 min. Chill and enjoy!
