Hand potatoes



For Potatoes

  • 2 cups butter potatoes, +cleaned , and sliced as shown in the picture
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Procedure: Mix all the ingredients together and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup toasted onions
  • 2 red chilis
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water

Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy!


Oatmeal Cake



  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup cherry jam
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter


Grind the oatmeal, raisins, almonds, and walnuts. Add the milk, sugar, and butter and mix it into a gooey paste. Bake this mixture at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. When golden brown, take out of oven, cover in cherry and cream and enjoy!

Kiwi Chikki



  • 6 kiwis, pureed, without seeds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 slivered almonds


In a non-stick pan, on medium heat, add the sugar and kiwi, and mix it into a paste. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix for 5-10 minutes, until it forms a clump and leaves the sides of the pan.

On a plate covered by parchment paper, flatten the clump with a spoon. Cool and enjoy!



Powdered Sponge cake



  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Procedure: Mix the eggs together, and then gradually add the sugar after the eggs become foamy. Mix until they form a meringue. When mixed, add vanilla extract, and mix again. In a separate plate, shift the flour and powder together. Then fold it into the meringue gradually. Then fold in the orange. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

We cut the cake out into circles and added powdered sugar on top.



Garlic and Mint Seasoned Bread



  • 2 tbsp ghee (butter)
  • 3 tbsp milk powder
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 100 milligrams warm water
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp garlic seasoning
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint

Mix these together.


Add the yeast to the water, mix in the milk powder, yogurt, egg, sugar, and salt. Make sure to add these in the order written. When it is mixed, add the flour. Mix well. In a bowl or plate, cover your hands in butter and knead well into a smooth dough. Then cover it and set aside to rise for 2 hours, until it is doubled in size. Do this at room temperature.

Once it has risen, cut the dough into 8 equal pieces. Shape the dough squares and place them in a baking tin. Add half the seasoning. Cover for 20 minutes.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, until it is golden brown. When it is baked, if you want it to shine, add a glaze of 1 tbsp water and 1 tbsp olive oil. Add rest of the seasoning on top. Enjoy!


Turmeric Pudding



  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (for the filling)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric (garnish)
  • vanilla whipped cream:


Take the mangoes, and mix in half of the brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix and set aside. Set aside. In a bowl, take the oatmeal, milk, butter, turmeric and the remaining brown sugar. Mix. In the bowls you want to bake in, first add a layer of mango, and then oatmeal. Bake for 25 minutes, at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When it is browned, and bubbly at the sides, take it out of the oven and cool. Add cream and turmeric. Enjoy!


Cherry Tomato Salad



  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice

Procedure: In a pan, on medium heat, add the oil and tomatoes and toast well. Then add and mix all other other ingredients. Serve and enjoy!
