Hand potatoes

Ingredients:

For Potatoes

  • 2 cups butter potatoes, +cleaned , and sliced as shown in the picture
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Procedure: Mix all the ingredients together and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup toasted onions
  • 2 red chilis
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water

Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy!

Cherry Tomato Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice

Procedure: In a pan, on medium heat, add the oil and tomatoes and toast well. Then add and mix all other other ingredients. Serve and enjoy!

Berry Pie

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry
  • 1 cup sweet berry sauce
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup mint

Procedure:

Mold the puff pastry in a pan, and stab with a fork all around. Bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Take it out and fill it with the berry sauce and mint. For the covering, we made flowers out of the puff pastry and put them on the top. Bake for 25 minutes, until they are golden brown. Add cream and serve.

Puff Pastry Jack-o-lanterns

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry packet
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup potato paste (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup cheese (of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup olives

Procedure:

Cut out puff pastry in pumpkin shapes. Add a layer of tomato sauce, potatoes, cheese and another layer of sauce. Cover with more puff pastry. Repeat for how many pastries you want. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, until they are golden brown. Enjoy!

Papdi Chat

Ingredients/Materials:

Dough Materials:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp chat masala
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 1 tbsp basil paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)
  • a pinch of salt

Toppings:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup namkeen
  • 1/2 chopped onions
  • 1 cup chutney

Make a dough, and make sure to add the water to the dough gradually. Flatten into discs and fry until golden brown. Then add the toppings and enjoy!

 

Baked Sugar Snap Peas (Vegan)

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar snap peas
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp chat masala
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients together, besides the lemon and breadcrumbs. Bake at 350 degrees, for 10-15 min, or until golden brown. Then add the breadcrumbs and lemon juice. Bake for a few more minutes and enjoy!

Coconut Wraps

Ingredients/Materials:

  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1 cup salad
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • ranch
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped pickles
  • coconut wraps

Procedure: Stuff all the ingredients in the coconut wraps, grill in a panini press and enjoy!
